My name is Fiona. I have just returned early this year to Dunedin after 19 years living and working in the Hutt Valley as a Dental Hygienist.

I started my dental career in 1999 as a dental assistant at the University of Otago Faculty of Dentistry. I then applied to study for a Diploma of Dental Hygiene of which I graduated in 2003. I secured a job in a practice in Upper Hutt in early 2004 and stayed there until our move back to the South Island.

Over the years I have enjoyed building a rapport with many patients, of whom returned to see me over the past 19 years. I enjoy treating people and making them feel comfortable and helping them maintain their oral hygiene well to stabilise and prevent gum disease, decay and tooth loss.

In my spare time I love spending it with my husband, two children and extended family who live all around Dunedin. We really like going out and finding new places to walk and explore in New Zealand. I also enjoy photography, playing hockey and watching my two children play their sports as well.
